Unfortunately I find myself disagreeing with you about Cillian Murphy, WGAF, only 'cause he looks too much like a girl IMHO. He sure can act 'though.
IRL I'm an ugly bastard so I'd have zero chance even if I could act...
OK, here are my nominees. I've put years of thought into this and therefore defy anyone to come up with a better selection. These guys have good, authentic looks and can act. I omitted Chris Hemsworth 'cause I feel his brother's a better actor and wouldn't bring as much baggage to the role:
Tom Hardy, mainly 'cause he's such a fantastic (my fave) actor
Colin Farrel
Liam Hemsworth
Chris Pine
Jon Hamm

I wouldn't give that left nut job Chris Pine a part in a school play. 
Hemsworth? That family is like the Kardashians today.
Farrell = maybe but a longshot imo.
Hardy? = too short plus he's not young enough maybe to go forward & do at least 12 years as 007.
It'll be a shock to most I suspect when they finally announce who gets the 007 license to be a gazillionaire.

Chris Pine owns the screen, is believable and steals scenes.
Hemsworth's family is irrelevant.
