Hello

I got an offer for a used 2x12 Diezel cab. Unfortunatelly the seller does not know anything about FL versus RL / V30 versus G12H100 versus Hempcone / made in Germany versus made in USA.

I know it has a black frontgrill which can be opened from the front. I assume the black front grill means made in Germany and the possibility to open the box from the front looks like FL to me.

Am I right?

BTW: I already asked for a serial number. I hope I get it ;)

Open from the front means frontloaded.

The black grill could be a good sign (newer german cabs), because in this series they are no longer sold with "salt & pepper" (the grey ones). But I am not shure about that.

Maybe try the search - if I remember correctly, Pauly said you can recognize the new ones by the color of the frame of the grill...

Hi.

this cab is definitely a front loaded cab!! Is the front panel removable?

But I don´t know whether it´s a usa-model or a german-made one. I asked Peter for a 2x12 fl cab a while ago (1,5 years ago) and he told me that the 2x12 fl cab is not in production at that moment. I don´t know if it´s in production again. I got a 2x12 rl cab and never regret it!

how about email peter stapfer for some information?

That looks like a couple of versions ago. It could be the first version. I have the second version with the grill recessed. Looks nice enough!

The 2 part tolex on the back looks a bit suspect to me...

Definitely get this verified by Poppa, just to be safe.

So. Finally I got the cabinet. Unfortunatelly a locknut was missing for one speaker skrew. So I sent a mail to Diezel If I can buy one. I could not! They sent it to me for free. The company Diezel is really beyond words. Thank you once again Peter.

And now to the cabinet itself. It is a FL with V30 in it. Exactly the cabinet I wanted to buy. It sounds incredible. To put it into words... accurate and very exact. There is no rock and roll dirt in it I think. Very very exact. And this is exactly what I was looking for and which my Orange cabinet was not able to deliver.

Diezel rocks!!!
