I am currently running two amps, a mesa dual rec and a bogner ubershall...I run the mesa with the low end cut and the mids and highs boosted and the bogner just the oppsite..It sounds good like this kinda the best of both worlds, but lugging this much gear around is getting old..I have had several players tell me to look into a Diezel. Problem with that is most of the stores around me..Diezel is a special order only...so getting somewhere where they are both there for a side by side is not happening..So Im playing a les paul custom..I would describe our music as hard rock with metal influences(just not alot of screaming). Not trying to bore you with my details, just figured it would make your advice easier..By the way you can hear what im playing at: myspace.com/foreverneverendsfne
thanks in advance......

Those are both very saturated and aggressive amps you use now...you might prefer the Herbert. The VH4 is more compressed, tighter and more dry feeling. You can't go wrong with either but that's my take, try and check out clips etc.

The Herbert is the amp you would probably want to go with. On the other hand I would highly reccomend testing the VH4, Herbert and Einstein before you buy though, I personally feel that buying anything sight-unseen is not a smart idea. All the best!

Hey guys,

thanks for taking the time to post...you are right i wont buy without test driving..just trying to get an idea which way to go before i get the local music store to get one in...

Ah yes the age old question..."Which Diezel should one buy". That's a tough one wish I could help. I would say that from my experince they are all great. Each have their own special qualities. You'll be happy regardless. :D

Man thats not a vote!!!!! ..

Probably the Herbert. It's evil, definitely a Mesa destroyer (well, all Diezel amps are), but not sure what the comparison with the Bogner is...
