Which Loop on VH4S

I'm using my VH4s in stereo with 2 4x12s. The only thing I want to plug into the effects loop is my fortin zuul. Which loop do I use? Is one of these like a global loop and not only stereo where I have to choose which side?


Y splitter perhaps?

just curious, and never had a VH4S, but if you do not use any Stereo effects in your chain, what's the reason of using an Amp in Stereo Mode
