I am very impressed with the company that is Egnater, I got email replies literally hours after I sent them. Half the time, I won't get any responce from manufactures when asking questions, so kudo's to them.

I am planning my Mod 50, and I am debating on what higher gain module to get. I like the sound of Mesa rects, but they can be fizzy, I am looking for something that will have a nice crunch and muscle to it for heavier rythm and power chords. And secondly, I am looking for a cleaner module that will have the ability to get a nice semi dirty tone, great for chords.

I am leaning toward the T/D for the latter...??...

I am deciding between the 3/4, Erect, and whatever else for the higher gain..... Thakns for the help

SL2 or EG5 Done! Not really cause they are addicting :D

T/D or BMan for clean and mid-gain.

I actually recommend E-Rect or EG5 for you for high gain. SL2 is great but its very Marshally and you mentioned that you like the Rectifiers so Im not sure its what youre looking for.

The E-Rect module is like the best sounding rectifier. Not as buzzy but the same vibe. EG5 is favorite of the gain lovers. Its very defined and saturated. It has great clarity like a Soldano SLO.

No, EG5 is based on the MHG listed on the site, but with more high mids to cut better. Its fantastic.

I big +1 on the EG5. It absolutely blew me away. best tone I've ever heard. EVER.

That's why I'm going to the amp lounge this weekend to pickup a fully loaded M4.

Nice

saw it on their site on some news, just not listed on the module page yet. Very cool

Seriously.

I don't think anything could sound better.

And I've owned some SERIOUS preamps in the same genre. (including my IE4)
