The point of this thread isn't "list every amp you own", but:

What amps do you keep around because your Egnater won't do that tone?

I've sold them all.

I guess I'm lucky in the sense that I don't feel the need for something else. Haven't for a good while. That may eventually change.
 
My only other amp is an Axe FX. But I constantly find myself GAS'ing for Mark IV or V.
 
Vintage amps becuase they are better than my 401k

diezel herbert. becuase nothing sounds like it. But..... I am getting a salvation Benzin. so we'll see........ :lol: :LOL:
 
I can't bring myself to get rid of my Gerlitz. It's just got that "pure" kind of tone. The Blackface channel just has a bounce to it that I haven't found even on the Mod50 with the T/D, and the Plexi channel is a great low to mid gain channel. Not to mention that you can blend the two channels together seamlessly. It makes a killer recording amp, which is mostly what I use it for, since my Mod50 lives at my church 90% of the time.
 
Since I got my Egnater, I've sold off my Alessandro 4/EL84 amp, Budda SD-18, Aiken Sabre, Bad Cat Hot Cat, Suhr Badger...and I just have a Tourmaster.....I wish the Mod 50 had 3 or 4 slots instead of 2...maybe I should get a used Mod 100...any 4 sale???
 
I dont have a Mark IV, but that would be one if I did. That high gain sound is the one module Im missing.
