Inquiring minds want to know,
I don’t care if you’re a rock legend, all of us look up to someone and strive to do it like they did.
Which band/player and album are the holy grail for you?

for me it's:

The machine-like attack of Malcom Young
The melody of Billy Howerdel
The lead feels of Mick Mars
The carefree (i'll do it my way) attitude of Steph Carpenter

geez, i could name a million of them, id have to say dime was the complete package though.

Vogg, frankhouser, guitarist from morbid angel, lamb of god, soreption, gojira, sepultra, obviously dime

Bro!!!!’ Whoa!! I forge my own path, the path of epic tone that no man has walked before me! It all starts with an amp so rare, so god damned glorious, and so god damned epic it physically pains me to think of losing it one day!

What, you ask, could ever achieve this type of tone. Only one amp.

And this guy recognizes the tonal excellence and his price reflects it’s true worth.

John Mayall & Cream era Clapton, a little Iommi on the side. I also enjoy Yardbirds era Beck and Steve Marrriott (Small Faces).

for me it's:

The melody of Billy Howerdel
The above and
The growling riffs of Adam Jones (Tool)
The energic punk of Zach Blair and Tim McIlrath (Rise Against)
The grungy harmony of all three guitar players in early Radiohead
The simple chimey riffs of the Dessner twins (The National)

Kirk Windstein and Pepper Keenan doing the first Down album.

Sammy Duet doing the Acid Bath stuff.

And Dime.
I'm a big fan of Kirk Windstein and Pepper Keenan. Nola is such a classic, as well as many of the Crowbar and COC albums.
