Found an ESP Custom Shop Truckster (not LTD) at a too good to pass up price. Never played one, but I hear good things. Plus, it matches my other beat up and well worn guitars. Finger on the trigger....

I absolutely love ESPs, especially as of recent. I've ALWAYS liked them, but I've been playing my Mirage Custom lately and just really clicked with me that (past ones too) ESPs just feel and sound awesome to my ear and hands. I always thought after I got my RG-565, that I was a newfound diehard Ibby fan, but ESPs just feel a little bit better and sound better, then again Alder is my favorite guitar wood which helps.

Scottph - What are those custom ?-SPHs? They look friggin' fantastic and I bet they are killer palyers!!

I own a ESP M-III. Great guitar, confortable to play and nice sound! But for now I like more my Les Paul Standard and my 97' Strat. Mainly because the Floyd Rose of my ESP drives me nuts from time to time

I have an Eclipse II (Standard Series) and I love it, great build quality and feel, i'd definitely go for it. It has a great neck and comfortable weight too, the only thing I may do with mine is remove the EMG's (2 x 81's) as it's quite a compressed sound with the vH4, i'd love to get some Bareknuckle's in there.

i have a KH2 neck thru, it's perfect

just a little tricky to be perfect set up though. maybe mine needs a little fret leveling...
