Who is using high powered speakers?

Anyone using high powered speakers with their Shiva or XTC, such as Celestion G12K-100s or CL-80s? What do you think?

I have been using exclusively vintage 30s with my 20th Shiva and I did use CL-80s for a bit in my THD 212 and it sounded great, and also tried K-100s in my Bogner 212 and they sounded massive! I also tried WGS Vet30/ET-65 as well.

The K-100 pair is one that stands out in my head and I am thinking of pairing one with my V30.

I tried my Shiva through my Boogie 1x12 with and EV in it, and I thought I sounded horrible. Would like to try it with some 100's though.

V30s and K-100s are so similar.
I try to avoid mixing speakers, but sometimes can't resist. Plus I already have V30s in my Bogner 212 so might use a K-100 and MC-90 in my Stone Age 212.
...or, CL80/K100.

Problem with mixing is EQing the amp for two speakers and then micing live with one mic!
