Who wants to tell him that you just can’t plug into a stock plexi and cop those classic EVH tones. Especially a new one! You got to have some special secret mods or some secret pedal. Then Ted Templeman and Donn Landee have to be there to record it. Otherwise you just can’t get there. Poor guy.

 
The dude needs a Madison Divinity amp, period. You want Eddie, you need to tap into the Divinity tones, like cutting into an apple pie on a brisk Christmas morn.
 
Once i opened this thread and saw what it was, i just happened to glance over at the pair of pliers i just used to snip the ends of my strings and thought "it would be cooler to rip my eye lids off with these than watch another van halen video", it was pretty funny LOL :ROFLMAO:
 
Obviously we need what's his nuts to pontificate on how it needs to be a cascaded jose mod or whatever because of some stupid magazine article eddie lied in
 
Dude sounds great. Whether or not the EVH thing has been done to death, sounding that good on a plexi isn't easy.
