I am loving the clips but am worried they only do the chugga palm mute stuff which sounds really good but I dont play like that all the time and need a good medium gain. Basically Im trying to talk myself out of a Cameron even though I know I have to get one eventually. The K2 sounds best to me but they all sound cool.

I've played 2 of them at my studio and think they sound amazing.
Talk to Lolzgreg.....hes the owner of both of them.
They do excellent low and mid gain.
I am far from a chugga chugga player myself, and both his amps had me smiling.
One was an XTC clone, the other I think is the k88.
Great amps in my opinion.....

I own a k88 and a B60, you can do any style from jazz to full on metal and every thing in between. Best amps I've owned

Owned a MI60L. Good amp. Voiced a little different from the K88 types. Solid build quality. The M series amps do hair metal and then some!

I only have a Baron Snott watt right now but plan on ordering a K88 this year since it has made me want a K88 even more now..

Dave @ Baron is a great to deal with too..

Snott Watt owner here....built well...sounds good....and great customer service at Baron !

No worries, they do a lot more than chugga palm mute stuff. Cool thing is, with the dual gain feature you set one high and one low and just switch back and forth using the footswitch. Kind of like two channels but they are in one channel. The K88/K2 are definitely designed to be on the modern, aggressive side, the B series is supposedly more pissed off Plexi. Not sure that I know what the difference is. My K88 is the most fun amp I've ever owned and I have a B60 on order to see how they compare. I may end up having to keep them both. :)

Like Ancient Alien said, they are fantastic.

The Baron K2 is the only amp I've owned for nearly two years. It is a machine and sounds GREAT for metal and rock guitar, as well as bass too! ;)

Best customer service out there from any amp builder along with Mike Fortin.

My K88 is amazing. I as well play a bit of everything. It does medium gain quite well. I have a few clips on his website with Greg.

Almost everything you'd find on netmusicians is me and my K88. http://www.netmusicians.org/?section=am ... m+Amps+K88

My amp went down because of a bad JJ tube and Dave sent me parts and I got it back up and running within a week. He is great with his service. Everyone on here will tell you the same. ;)

For brootal metal:

The amp has tons of great mids that make the tone super clear.

Ok MII60 used on the way!! The EL34 youtube clip got way closer to what I wanted to hear it do. There goes my Cameron deposit!

That was the clip that made me want a Baron in the first place. :)

And OP you are gonna love it. NAD when you get it.

Cool, buying used you probably don't have a lot of downside. If it doesn't work for you then just unload it and then you can revisit the Cameron thing.
