Just curious why Suhr doesnt make an oversized 2x12? Other boutique manufacturers make them (I would think for good reason) such as Bogner, Egnater, etc. Does Suhr think the oversize is not necessary to get a big sound in a 2x12?

Anyone who has heard the CAA 2x12 and one of the other oversize boutique cabs please feel free to jump in!

The CAA 2x12 is dual ported and gets plenty of low end.

That'd be a deal breaker for me...I've NEVER liked ported guitar cabs... Bogner Cube, Ear Candy cabs, Egnater OS 1x12....only one I liked was the Port City...and for me...I still prefer a sealed cab. That's just me though.

Just buy a Bogner OS 2x12, take off the Bogner logo, and slap on a Suhr logo, done. It's possible Suhr and Bogner get their cabs from the same place anyway.

The Port City OS 2x12 is the best I've heard of these type cabs so far....and I've heard a few.

I'm still in love with mine three years later, the PC 2x12 OS crushed my Mesa into bits...
