Ordering a custom Carvin and I have all the specs down, but I want a trem on there, just for shits a giggles. I don't like the Floyd, so I thought about throwing a Wilkinson trem on there. How's the tuning stability on those bad boys? The nut will be graphite and headstock equipped with Sperzel Locking tuners. Any info would be helpful.

i have the Wilkinson VS100 in my Charvel (with Sperzel locking tuners and a bone nut) - no tuning issues whatsoever, BUT it's not the tremolo for big divebombs or Dimebag squeals. it works great for some good vibrato

I`ve got an almost identical set up: Jackson PC-3 with a Wilkinson, bone nut and Planet Waves locking tuners. I have mine set up floating and I can do most of the Satriani/Vai stuff (except the crazy dives and whammy melodies) without going out of tune. The key is having the guitar set up right.

have the wilkinson on my carvin bolt and both my brian moore's, Elixer strings, graphite nuts and sperzle locking tuners and no tuning issues what so ever.

Is that a Koa body? Nice!

Carvin has got this one pretty well dialed in. You shouldn't have any tuning problems. I have 2 Carvins with the Wilkinson and never have issues.
