From what I've read, it sounds like Hagen will be an update on the VH4 formula.
Will that mean that production of the VH4 stops?

Hi, I´d like to know, what will be the difference between Hagen and VH4 or (Herbert) couse the Herbert´s 2 and 3 channel is the same circuit like VH4 but more comprimed..

You should know that Peter won't do this. People (including me) have been asking him for month now and we will get all the info when Hagen is ready. Not earlier, not later!

c'mon guys.... I mean, it COULD be a "replacement" but honestly......the VH4 is a VERY popular amp..... I don't think Hagen will replace it.... and in case it WOULD, I'm sure Peter and his Marketing team know better than to change the name of the amp, specially after being a well known amp. The only way I see the Hagen replacing the VH4, would be if Peter and the crew were not "happy" with the VH4 sales, which I'm almost sure they are.
The way I see (and I'm only speculating here) The VH4 has it's own thing goind (upper mids/tighter), the Herbert has it's own thing (kind of scooped, a bit more loose than the VH4)......but they both sound "Marshally"......and what I mean by that is, they both sound like they were born and developed as modded marshalls. I would think the Hagen has a more "American - Mesa type" Modern flavor, but again, it's ALL spaculating....and I bet Peter has a very good laugh when he reads our "speculation comments" hehehe I know I would!

im telling you hagen is the new diezel amp that is a 24 channel amp with 41 power tubes and a mini keg on the top which pours only the finest german brew!

NO !!!
Hagen will be different... Better ? worst ???.... NO... simply DIFFERENT... that way, will be Diezel amps for all the tastes.
The VH4 is a real BEAST, and so the Herbert... Do people think that the Herbert replaced the VH4 ?, NO... so the same will happens with the Hagen. It will be a different amp, in all terms... no matter if it has 3 channels like Herbert, 4 channels like VH4 or 2 channels... It wont simply replace the VH4 in case it has the same numbers of channels, It has no sense.
Again... If you LOVE the VH4, like many many guys do (I'm one of those who love it), then go and get one, and dont worry because you will have one of the best amp in the world, and it will last FOREVER.
And No... Diezel wont stop the production of the VH4 for sure !.
Let's Diezel work in the amps, and less work in the forum. (the less we see Peter here would means that it has more time to work on the new amps !!! I WANT THE SCHMIDT !!! )
