Guys,

So it's nearly the 25th Anniversary - will there be a 25th Anniv. XTC to replace the 20th?

possibly one with cosmetic changes, but i doubt they would make a whole new amp

It sounds like Reinhold is leaning more towards smaller, low-wattage amps these days, so my guess would be no.

Concur.

I for one would LOVE to see a reissue of the Rev 2 Uberschall, with external bias points and the clean and gain channel volumes matched like the Rev Blue.

No way...... :gethim: Bogner has all the tones and features already covered!

I've got a '08 Ecstasy 101b, which I love.... Just got a '97 101b this week that I ALSO love! The 101B is the king of amplifiers for me. I've played them all and always come back to the Ectasy and Uberschall!

Now, go away and stop asking stupid questions, young man!!

The channel volume issue is easy, run the clean channel volume all the way up/full on, then use the gain control as your volume control. It's what I do and it works wonderfully this way.

I would love to have a reissue Rev2 (Rev2.1 or Rev2RI  ) with the external bias and Master Depth & Presence controls added to the power section like the TJ.
BUT! I would NOT want it if there were any changes to the preamp design or power section that alters the feel or base tone of the Rev2. :gethim:
As long as I could dial in the Rev2 tone and feel, but with more tone shaping options that would be cool. :worship:

Exactly! A bit more control over the low end (depth knob) would be nice, but with the same preamp and power structure, same plate voltage, EL34 tubes, etc. That would be effin' sweet, and I bet a whole lot of people would dig it. Maybe retire the Rev Blue and bring back the Rev 2...

"See, we are getting to know each other"

It's a seriously sweet amp. I honestly enjoy its tone more than the Twin Jet's (one of the most organic tones I've ever heard), although I like the feel of the latter more.

Wow, we seriously hijacked this thread!

From Bogner's Website......

"As many of you are aware, we recently announced the release of new Bogner-branded batteries. These units have been engineered to improve the life and tone from our Bogner pedals. Due to the unbelievable success of these batteries, we have been examing other, non-traditional products that will allow us to maximize the enjoyment our customers have with their amplifiers.

In connection with our 25th anniversary, we are pleased to announce a new product designed to give guitarists the coveted Bogner 'Blue' tone, regardless of what brand of amplifier they are playing through. The new "Bogner Blanket" will deliver authentic 'Blue' tone by way of a simple modification any guitarist can make to their amplifier. Simply remove the Bogner Blanket from its packaging and drape over your speaker enclosure. Guitarists everywhere will be astonished by the sonic complexity this blanket will impart.

Rev2 is the King that's for sure.
How would that be a Rev2 with a Deep or Depth Control? OMG that would be Earsgasm

It would be nice. One of the few complaints I have about the Rev 2 is that its low end can get a bit woofy and out of control.
