I'm hoping for some new circuits with more optional features. An EG1/2, Armageddon, and maybe even an effects module would be stellar. If they could do a delay and a reverb module I would buy them both.
Maybe that's why they're taking their time? Maybe Bruce is looking for a way to keep the modular line in the USA? This summer he built a number of modules and a couple of MOD50s, possibly testing the waters?

Not to rain on anybody's parade, but I doubt this.
I think the small run of two MOD50s this summer was more likely than not simply Bruce "cleaning out his parts drawer" and getting rid of some old components he doesn't anticipate using in the future.
The delay probably is a result of Bruce trying to find a Chinese manufacturer to produce the new modular line, do some test runs, test the resultant quality, tolerances, etc.
If I was a betting man, I would put my money down that the new modular stuff will be made in China.
Could be fun for some, but I am one for instant gratification. I would just get pissed off having a bag full of parts and an instruction manual come in the mail, instead of something I could slide into my amp and start using IMMEDIATELY.
