I’m looking at both of these. Most reviews are good for both.

I’m loving the good tuner on the Shure but not the 4ms latency compared to the 1.5ms of the G70.

This will be my first wireless system in 15 years. Stages and shows are getting bigger. I don’t have IEMs and for smaller gigs, my bass player and I like to mix it up with the crowd.

Is latency that big of an issue live to where it throws you off groove or you don’t really notice it? I doubt I would ever be more than 50 feet from the receiver on the pedalboard.

Anyone experience both?

I have owned both and I prefer the shure. I think it just sounds better and the battery life is excellent.

I’ve owned both and still own and use the Shure. I did experience some dropout and interference issues with the Line 6 which made me make the move to the Shure.
I did learn that the interference and dropouts could’ve been because of the proximity to the WiFi router for our P.A. system but I’ve been super happy with the Shure and have had zero issues.

Thanks guys. Upon reading further, I changed the thread to look at the G70 because this whole thing about latency gives me an twitch. G70 at 1.5ms and Shure at 4ms.

I’m not playing stadiums, but some small to medium rooms and some outdoors here and there. Any other experiences are appreciated.

3 ms is how long sound travels over 1 mtr so that's how important it is ;-)

I have the Shure also and have no interest in whatever other wireless unit, it's that good. The thing has no flaws I can think of. Highly recommended !

All good feedback, fellas. Many thanks. I’m going to try the Shure and go from there.
