I need a wiring diagram of the newer 412 cab. It would be much appreciated, thanks.

dude mine was fucked up... here is what peter stapfer sent me... hes cool ...

The plus on the jack is the pole that is further away from the dish.
The minus is closer to the dish.

the lead connected to the permanent + of the jack should be connected to the
+ of speaker 1
the "-" of speaker 1 should be connected to the "+" of speaker 2
the "-" of speaker 2 should be connected to the "-" of the jack.

same for the other pair of speakers

- both speakers of a pair are connected serial
Running 8 Ohm speakers means that one pair has an impedance of 16 Ohm

the two jacks are connected parallel. Both sides ( each 16 ohm ) are 8 Ohm
MONO if nothing is connected to the black jack.

Thanks, with that description my cab is wired correctly when I had to re-do the wiring when I got it.

I have noticed that after going 6 KT88's in my Herbert, the volume pumped, and a bassy guitar, would want to make the cab "fart" out at times. Thought maybe I had the ohms wrong or something.

It's just the speakers, as I did do the V30/K100 X and noticed how the V30 looks like a higher quality speaker. Even the magnet is bigger on a 30, how a K100 is a higher watt speaker with a smaller magnet, I don't know. Regardless, removing two 100's and replacing them with V30's practically removed any cab farting.

I also had problems with cab farting. This was when I still had a Mesa Recto cab.

Now I use a Diezel and the Bass response is MUCH better - can turn the depth up again
