Apologies for non-direct Friedman product related question but figured this would be the best place to ask anyway ...
I have a medium pedalboard powered by Voodoo Labs 4x4, very simple all in-line other then BOSS DD-500 which goes through the loop.
Currently I'm using BOSS TU-3 for input buffer and taking the Bypass out to a separate output on my pedalboard patchbay as a safety in case something goes wrong with the pedals so I can just plug out of that and bypass the whole board ... works great.
Wanted to switch the TU-3 for another tuner and use a dedicated input buffer.
I tried: Axess BS-2, Suhr buffer, RJM Tone Saver. When I use the ISO output to split the signal I get a lot of buzz (noise).
I'm only using either the main output of the buffer going through all the pedals or the ISO output going straight to the amp ... never both at the same time.
Only when using the ISO output bypassing all the pedals and going straight to the amp I get a lot of noise, all 3 buffers. No idea why.
Axess BS-2 is less noisy when using the split output but still has additional noise. BOSS TU-3 is dead quiet.
Noise is also present when I'm not using the patchbay.
Noise happens with or without DD-500 being hooked up through the loop.
Any idea what could be causing this issue?
Thanks in advance!
