I'm pumped. I've heard folks say they just don't jive with it, but Eric's clips have me chomping at the bit for this thing. You guys using 5751's in V1? Tell me true Eggheads. Did I make the right decision for my 4th and final position in the M4?

Great module man!! I definitely use a 5751 in V1. 5751s sit in my Twin, COD, VX, and BMAN. They definitely vibe in the lower gain / mid-gain stuff!

Eric, is there a spot on your website where I can listen to your clips?

That clip is a GREAT accurate representation of what the COD does. Great module. So much fun to play with a strat!

I'm so stoked for this thing. I will most assuredly report back with an assessment!

I love the COD. The trick is to do crazy settings like gain dimed and treble on zero.

BTW, I don't consider a low gain module. I've never used it for cleans.

IMO, it's a soloing module with a little less gain, but a lot of mids, and a nice amount of compression if you dial it that way.

KILLER module.

This clip is what sold me and it is very accurate. A nice Strat with great pickups and competent hands can really make that module shine.

Just make sure your chops are up to snuff because otherwise that module will expose you!!

  I off everyday man no worries  :D

Does clean David Gilmour and can nail comftably numb. Ch. B has more gain than I think gets mentioned. A must module for Floyd/SRV/blues/jazz Kenny Wayne Sheppard and many more. I would put it in the Top right slot and bump ur high gain mods on the bottom, or cleans on left and gains on right. :D

Yeah man you hit it on the head in terms of what I'm looking for. I love Gilmour/SRV. I think my other guitarist is as excited as I am for this one. We've been talking about the COD since I picked up my M4. I generally don't use much gain and find that most every module I've played has plenty on tap. I grabbed this module specifically for my Thinline but I'm sure it will rip with my Flat 5X as well. Should be here next week!

Once the gain goes up high, tone controls have very little effect...just change the feel slightly... I don't bother with cleans..put the thickest, gainiest tube I could find in v1 (JJ ECC803s) :D
