Hi,

I'm -or rather was- a happy user of the WoS plugin. I was using the 3.0.20 beta flawlessly in Reaper on a Win XP SP3 system along with the cabs I had purchased from your online shop. The plug in wouldnt load in Cubase SX3, but was fine in Reaper.

Yesterday I downloaded and installed (after unintalling the beta) the lastest 3.1.0 version, proceeded to authorize it offline, and tried to load up a project file in Reaper, which had the WoS. No joy, Reaper wouldnt load the file and crashed.

I then setup a new project, loaded WoS, the tried to change the mic selection and again Reaper crashed. The good thing is that now at least Cubase loads the plugin, but its not working!

Please advise!

Cheers,
mtsag

Hi Mtsag,

hum, that's strange issue, the new update was create mainly to fix some... XP issues.

Anyway, did you send a message to the Help Desk?

May I suggest to try to download again the plugin (with another internet browser so you are sure not to download the same file) and try a clean install?

It happens that some download issues can happen resulting in a faulty plugin (I know, it's strange).

Hi, yes I posted a request to the help desk. The gave me a link to download a file, which fixed everything in Reaper, but in Cubase SX 3, even thought the plugin loads (it would not load at all before this version) it doesnt process any audio!

Any ideas for me?

Cheers!

Well mtsag, it's hard for us to have instant fixes for some 10 years old softwares, as Cubase won't send us any working version of it...

We do our best to help you with that, but if I have to give you my idea I would highly recommend you to update your sequencer... ;)

Sadly the compatibility between the versions of Cubase or any sequencer is far from guaranteed, meaning we have to develop special fixes for every version, even years before Two Notes existed. ;)

Hi, you're probably right! As long as it works well in reaper I'm good.
