WOS - do I lose anything by bypassing the power amp?

Hi,

I'm just going to install the demo of WOS III, and I just want to ask something. I've had a quick check of the manual (will read the whole thing later) but I don't think it mentions this.

Does the power amp in WOS actually "interact" with the Speaker emulation? In other words will I "lose" anything by using the power amp of my amp sim (S-Gear or Thermionic) and bypassing the one on WOS?

I can check the WOS power amp later - but I'd prefer to just use WOS for the speaker emulation. The manual seems to imply that you can just do whatever you want to do - but is there a (realism) "penalty" for not using the WOS power amp?

I'm looking forward to trying this out - but I just wanted to ask beforehand - to give me a heads up of what to look for ;-)

Thanks for any advice.

The power amp emulation is fully independent of the speaker emulation, both the operation and the process used to capture the speaker mic combinations. Feel free to do as you like and always use your ears.

Thanks for that - that sounds great.
I'll concentrate on using the amps I know for now...
