Hello :3 I am wondering if the Torpedo Live would suit my needs. I currently produce music out of my home setup (and occasionally out of my friends luthier shop or a local music studio). I'll include a picture of my rig http://i.imgur.com/6MOkIkn.jpg

I currently use the Line 6 POD HD Pro X for amp emulation, which I love except for the fact that I feel the built in cabinets are god awful. I currently run a GSP1101 in an effects loop as a cabinet sim which works really well for the fact that it wasn't even made to do what it is doing. The question I have is will I get a substantial enough improvement in tone to justify spending $1000 on a Torpedo Live over my current setup? https://soundcloud.com/fretless-1/judas-cover Here's a rush cover I did to just demo how my tone is going. I really don't want to use VST IR loaders either, as I will not always have a computer to load IR's on either. Thanks for the help :3

Hello Terminus,

I don't think you need a Torpedo Live which embeds a load (to plug an amp). If you keep the Line6, a Torpedo C.A.B. is enough for the purpose.

 : Incredibly honest answer from manufacturer himself !

You'd think about buying a Reload, "who can do more can do less" sorry ... just a joke :D

Well, I'm an engineer, not a salesman, my bad. ^^

The only issue is I really do not want to have floating gear. I am willing to spend a bit of extra money for gear to fit in a rack. Floating gear is too much of a liability when I bring my rig out of the house, and I have already had tons of gear damaged and stolen over the years because it wasn't in a secured rack. Thank you for the fast reply!
