Would you trade a Caparison Horus for a Parker Nitefly?

Working on a trade deal, but I think this might be a big mistake.

The Parkers have definitely gone up in value over the years, but the Horus is about $3k new.

Wondering if I should just get out of this while I'm ahead.

What are you comparing them to?

I've never tried a Parker, but I've heard good things about the top end models. Adrian Belew used to play one.

The Caparison I've owned for almost 10 years now and it's a fine instrument too. The Killswitch Engage guy, Arch Enemy guy and I think Michael Romeo play them.

I like the parker alot more than I like the caparison.

I thought I might too, but then I figured I might as well go big or go home, so I'll look out for a Parker Fly Artist or Mojo or something instead of the Nitefly model.

From my perspective, a bigger challenge will be affordability. There are some listed on Reverb, but they start at around $3k in "very good" condition.

Anyway, lightning has struck before, it may well strike again.

Ah, I try not to look at the classifieds too often. Guess I'll mosey on over there right now and torture myself reading about gear I can't afford haha

If you prefer it, go for it. But asking me, no way. I own 5 Caparison Horus's, one of my favorite model guitars ever.

Caparisons don't hold their value the way some larger brands do, but that is just an opportunity to get more in my book.
