Wow... Amazing what a lil' time away will do to a guy!

Had my brand new VH4S laid up for a while as I searched for some of the tube fault fuses... In the meantime, snagged a NIB '07 Uberschall and just fell in LOVE with playing it (through my Diezel cab of course). So, tuned it in, played it tons, recorded, loved it - and seriously thought "MY GAWD!!! I think the Bogner is inching out over the VH4S...!!".

Well, got a bag full of 250mA slow blows and lined 'em up in the VH4S, hit the ON button, let it warm up, threw the Les Paul in it, and hit RUN...

Folks, there is just NO other amp like a Diezel VH4S. The room instantly filled with that magic DEPTH and PRESENCE unlike any of the other amps, Uber included, that I'd played while my "V" was under the weather. In-fkn-credible!!!

Seriously, jaw-dropped...in awe...blown away yet AGAIN!!! How I LOVE when some things NEVER change!!

Yeah, I'm coming to realise that I am terrible when listening to anything new, I seem pre-disposed to looking for the positives, or just anything 'new' in the sound. I think it takes me at least a month of listening to decide if something is good or not, or should I say 'better'. Sometimes it's obvious and indisputable, but sometimes I think you can fool yourself quite convincingly.

Glad to hear it's a win for the VH4.
