Wow wireless foot controllers

good idea, I've hooked my guitar wireless up between pedal board / amp, to see if it would work.

I don't get it

you send your signal to your rack, than it goes wireless back
to the pedals in front of you, and than back to your rack?

nonsense for me, someting that makes sense (at least for me)
is a MIDI controller installed on your guitar, so that you can
change the settings without a footcontoller, everywhere on stage...

like the fingertip

I posted about this a few months ago. I think it's a good idea. But it a wireless midi foot or hand controller would be the way to go.

I'm waiting for the wireless midi stuff to catch up...

The fxconnect system looks like a great rig. I've heard that the rjm is also incredible, but it's not wireless. A friend of mine went to NAMM this year and saw the system in use and was speechless and he has 2 rjm switchers!

Ill take either one. But being able to be wireless is just awesome. Ill probably do the wireless fxconnect system when I can. I'm sick of wires everywhere and I like my stomp boxes, not digital BS.

Finally the technology is out there.

If your pedals are racked, and you use a guitar wireless, even with a MIDI foot controller it's ONE cord! Is that really busting balls. I'd rather run one cord (MIDI/CAT5) from a controller to rack than a wireless foot controller that I now have to worry about batteries.

I am currently designing a MIND over MIDI system. Just think about FX and channel selection and it changes for you.

Great idea Steve! But for someone like me whose thoughts wander rapidly that might prove to be really a no go. I mean from wah to hypnotic flange to spaced echo drenched in delay in less than 5 seconds... actually, that sounds pretty cool!

I'm afraid it would get stuck on the porn groove preset...

How about adding in audience interaction? There's loads of self-opinionated guitarists in audiences, they could all collectively say "This is how I think it should sound" and the system gets an average of everything in between. A totally democractic EQ setting!
