Still looking for an IM1...
If you dont find one duncan now makes a model called "Frankenstein custom shop"
http://customshop.seymourduncan.com/fra ... stom-shop/
The IM1 was discontinued and this took its place.
The only difference is the Im1 came with a aged A5 magnet and this newer one has the correct A2.

I’m wondering if it’s even worth getting an IM1. The more I understand that pickup, it’s supposed be be a copy of the EVH Frankie. I already have that one so seems it’s may be redundant.

IMHO it is not worth it. If you put a A5 into the EVH frank pu it will be the same tone/Specs. Duncan makes the EVH frank pu's for FMIC, if this help?
The ONLY advantage to getting a Custom shop frank pu from duncan is the options.
you can get it with 4 wire,or a different color, etc.

Yeah that's my understanding. Same pickup with a different mag degaussed to be close to an A2. So they could sell the same pickup as EVH through the Custom Shop. With the "IM1" name, you'd think it did VH1. But the Frankie sounds more 1984 than anything.
