Yes! Chocolate board is good but not the neck imo Caramel neck is what you want. Basswood body is great too but Alder has a little edge in the mids. Basswood gives a little more of an airiness in a good way.

Got a Dommenget Super Strat . Alder body , maple neck , ebony fretboard , hardtail with Boris's musclebucker single pickup . Insane clarity in the tone considering the the pickup is 21.k ohms. transparent blue with black hardware . I guarantee you will not find another one like this anywhere never the less in the US.
