good luck. I ended up buying a combo this month to convert to a head. Its going to end up costing me a couple hundred more but every time I see one pop up its gone before I get my cash up.
 
Oddly just went through this. Got an early Mark IV B with an old 2x12 Mesa vert cab. Huge pain to get. Prices and demand have gone up a lot. But—not sure of your location but there is a Mark IV head for sale in the Springfield, IL craigslist (from a local store). Maybe you can email them and see if they will ship.
