Anyone have a triple chrome. I'll trade my IIC +/++ KG non reverb coliseum. Here's the one that turned my favor of the blacked out to what I prefer now but it must be a triple with rev C printed on the pcb.

Tough combo to find man. Kind of universally hated myself included

Trying to make me feel good:)
Less competition then...you know chrome sounds better. Bendinelli said so.

Bring it RT OR else I will...

I will trade my IIC+/++ KG coliseum for a original rev C triple prototype, (I know there is one on the forum) and the pcb must have the rev C on it.

Theres only one in the world to my knowledge. It’s in a dual rec chassis.

There's more than one, according to Steve K. 3 is what I heard; around 10 yrs ago. Tragically, we all missed out on one at a Seattle GC way back...799. Ugh. It was listed as a 'home modified triple Rec' lol....

I thought there were three but one was kept, another changed back, and another made it out to public use which is the one referenced here.

We can find out when Mike B gets a call....someone on this thread has his number. Either way, that 799$ version was a steal.

I know someone who had theirs modded by Mike B. Added a vintage correct transformer and removed the rectifier tubes. Boom, Triple C.

It is totally possible to build your own rev C triple rectifier. You just need a rev C dual rec and the correct PT and OT. The rest is just power tube wiring. There’s no way the prototypes used dual rec OTs with the primary impedances all messed up unless the secondaries were wired to lose an impedance tap for compensation or they intentionally mismatched the primary Raa.

So interesting. Wish I was around and knew Steve. I feel that I missed a lot.

Wait, removed rectifier tubes? How it is a Rectifier then?

This is what I have suggested IF one can find a C that won't require you to refinance your home. Lol
