I've still got two of these things - got them in a bad trade deal (they were supposed to be V30L's, but anyway, they're labelled "celestion made in england" on the bottom, and "crate vintage series" on the top and.it says "V 12 L".....and the chassis' green. The only thing i could find on google is some guy on sevenstring sayi g they're G12L's or something with a 5oz lighter magnet.
Im.tempted to.build a 2x12 for them but dont know if it'd be worth it lol

Dude, once you utter the word CRATE, silence ensues. :D

I asked a question awhile back about some speakers that were in a CRATE BlueDooDoo cab and got nuttin'.

Well....for good reason lol....i was just wondering - because the sticker says "crate vintage series" on the top, but then it says "celestion made in kipswitch england ect,ect all over the rest of of it ya know? Just curious what the hell they are lol. I wouldnt have them if i hadnt gotten ripped off, but they've been sittin in a closet for quite awhile - just cueious about them. Celestion hasn't answered my email lol.
The only thing i can find is some guy on the internet who says they're greenbacks with a 25oz magnet.

Guess i might as well sometime. They might make a good 2x12 for a low watt head i guess
