I have a custom voiced DLX-C module that Bruce made for me. It's a little more open sounding than the standard DLX. I'm looking to trade for a SL module. The module is in excellent shape.

I may be interested but i am curious what the Deluxe C sounds like. Do you have any clips?

Bill,
I don't have any at the moment. You could email Bruce and ask him. I could also take a pic of the inside to refresh him if you're interested. It has a little more air to the tone than the standard DLX. I play a lot of country and need a open tone. I'm a Vox guy so that's the only reason I'm selling it. I'm also sure Bruce could put it back to stock w/o much trouble.

I'm putting together a new studio so all I have to record with is a digital cam. If that works for you I could make some clips tomorrow. My wife's in bed and would kick my ass if I fired up the amp tonight

If you have time to make a clip and I can see if it's even in the ballpark of what I'm looking for that would be great. I love my SL but I'm not using it much these days.

Heading to my gig so I won't have time today. It sounds like the D side of my old T/D module.

I decided to keep the DLX for now. It just sounds too good to let go. I'm going to buy a SL.

That's the spirit!  :D

Just got in my SL. Dude! You need to get one of these NOW!!!!!! I can't believe I waited so long. It's so organic sounding. I instantly found a wide range of tones this thing just nails. from clean grit to raw grinding crunch, it's in there.

The SL ROCKS. I think if I had to live w/ 2 modules, it would be VX and SL.

I even bought a modded SL (Brown Eye) because I like the SL so much. They complement each other well.

Glad you are liking it!

When I bought my Mod50 it had a T/D and a SL. I loved the SL but traded it for a VX.The VX rocks and is not going anywhere. I also traded the T/D and picked up a DLX. I love both modules but I'm missing the SL. With the mids set around 9:30-10:00 I could cop a killer JTM 45 tone on channel A. With the mids higher I was in Super Lead territory

If the E2 doesn't come out soon I'm buying a used M4.

It's a killer setup! I was totally on board for the E2, but my instant gratification syndrome, or IGS as everything now has to have initials, and I picked up an M4 from R.Milbeck here on Rig-Talk! Haven't looked back...
