Hi! I am thinning the herd some. I have ~15 Marshalls and want to thin the herd down some. Most of these I have 2 similar amps and many of these are "bucket list" amps so lets do some trades! Also, as I get older my tastes are more "low gain" in nature so a lot of these arnt getting the love and playing time they should get.
Available for trade:
1. JCM 800 with Bogner "Snorkler" mod (done by Bogner). If you want the "Facelift" sound, its in there. This is the real deal! Trade value: $5,500
2. JMP (I think its a '77 Super Bass) with custom mod by Dan Gower. I asked him to do his take on the popular "AFD" mod. It sounds awesome but I have two Gowers so one most go. When he modded it, he did new caps and fixed a few other things. This is seriously an amazing amp. Trade value: $3,500
3. JMP (I think this one is a '78 Super Lead) with Monomyth mods. This one screams - if youre into metal, this is your ticket. This amp is seriously amazing but so is his "Skeleton key" production head that I have (I have SN #2) so one must go. Trade value: $3,000
4. JCM 800 (this one was a combo turned into a head via a custom SourMash headshell) with Friedman "Kitchen Sink" mod. I think everyone knows what this is, but it sounds great. But so does my Smallbox, and my BE50 (with custom mods from Dave) so one must go. Trade value: $3,000
5. DSL100 with Voodoo "Metal head" mod. This one is a fire breather! Trace told me he doesnt like this mod because its too much gain. And hes not wrong but if youre a "too much gain" kind of guy, this is your jam. Trade value: $1,500
6. '73 Super Lead 100w - Not modded but I will call it "Player Grade", as it has a new power transformer. The output transformer (which is the "important" one for tone) is original, as is everything else except the caps and the power cable. No mods on this one, sounds awesome. This is pre-PCB.
Things I want to trade for:
1. VH4 (preferably an older one)
2. JP2C
3. Friedman Plex
4. Mesa Dual Rectifier "multi-watt" version
5. Metropoulos Metroplex (or potentially a DVL)
