XTC and midi switching?

Anybody have experience or recommendations on this?

I'm getting an Eleven Rack (too good a deal to pass up) and would like to add it into my live rig. Mostly for fx, but likely for leads and maybe a different clean channel too.

From what I've researched, the Ground Control Pro is good for managing the 11R, but I need a midi controller for the amp as well. I'm thinking that the RJM Mini Amp Gizmo could be an ideal solution. I've heard that the VL GCX has some issues with the XTC.

Does this have me covered? Will the RJM Amp Gizmo along with the GCP allow me to program channel switching on the amp and work with the GCP for presets?

This would work perfectly...best solution would be to have the GCP control the Amp Gizmo > MIDI thru > Eleven Rack. I can't see why this wouldn't work flawlessly. BTW, you could call Ron at RJM as well...he's a great guy with a well-deserved reputation for great custoimer service.

perfectly stated. U just need ron to build u a cable to mate w/ the amp gizmo and xtc and your all good to go

I use the rjm (RG-16) to control my xtc. works perfectly. there is a preset specifically for the XTC as well. if it took me 10 seconds to set up the RJM to use with the XTC then it was 9 seconds too long...

I use a RG-16 with 2 cables, 1 for 1st input out to the XTC and the 2nd out to my Uber Rev Blue with a GCP and Egnater amp head switcher. I talked to Ron and he walked me through it. It does switch both amps at once which isnt a problem if 2 heads go into one cab.

The mini amp gizmo would be perfect for one amp. If you need pedals in and out of the loop go for the RG-16.
