XTC Mod off to Czech Rep. to become Salvation Custom 3

Hell Yeah!!!

This is going to be awesome.

The faceplate, font, and knobs are going to be like a 3+SE.

It will even use red wimas and silver micas to be true to the original a bit.

Oh, it will be like Ch 3, btw. :rock: :rock: :rock:

I'm eagerly awaiting the conclusion. I don't know if I want to deal with shipping one of these thru customs. Let us know when/if you get it back in one piece. :D

I've owned a 3+SE. It had been owned/used by Steve Stevens for the Vince Neil "Exposed" album.

It was a nice preamp, but it just wasn't as perfect as my IE-4 at the time. Even my Mom, was like "hmm, the Bradshaw preamp sounds fuzzy next to that new Egnater."

I hear ya there man. I felt the same with with the OD100SE+. It's a killer amp...but my Eggie stuff just "feels right." On a side note...got my BMAN and VX this weekend. Why in the f-ck did I sell my VX???? and the BMAN rocks! It's quickly becoming one of my favorite modules. Have the SL, COD, BMAN, and VX in my M4 at the moment. I miss my other modules!

Seriously, I have to have at least two low gain modules in my M4 at all times.

VX + SL. they are truly magical.

I agree man! I do the same. I'm very glad I picked up the VX and BMAN. Up to 8 modules now :). I'm getting into muudrock territory...oh shit! :) I'm on a low-mid gain kick right now..which is good...since I don't have any high gain modules at the moment in my possession.

Gene, do you know what tracks? Im curious because Steve said on HRI that his 68 Plexi was the main amp for the Exposed sessions.
