Looking at the Renegade, but have read some things regarding the realiability. Looking for some people that actually have the amp for some info. I have read too many reviews where it's the friend of a friend that seen and heard one once that decides to post a review.

Any info would be great.

had a renegade for about a year, absoutley no problems and i gig it every weekend...

I've had a renegade 212 combo for a few months now with zero problems.

have a renegade head about 5 months 4 gigs plus band practice, play it every day -- no problems

Mine's pretty brand spanking new, but I love that thing. Perfect tone/power/weight for me.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I played one at my local GC this afternoon, and I am going to have one ordered for me from a smaller local shop more by my house.

I can't wait to get it. I am going to get the 212 combo.

Good decision, I think, Steve!
Let us know how it goes when you get it.

Congrats! Don't be afraid to try different tubes in your amp as Egnater has made it so easy to do with the Renegade!

I've had the head for a few months now and no problems at all so far. I played around with different preamp tubes and ended up liking the stock tubes the best. Go figure. For the power tubes I like the el34's more than the 6l6. So I'm thinking of pulling the 6l6, putting in another matched set of ruby el34's and just running the tube mix knob in the center all the time.

Anyway it's a truly great sounding amp. It's actually my favorite sounding amp I've ever owned. And I've been playing since the 80's. So I've had some experience.

I have the Renegade head and,so far, no problem  !Awesome amp!

I've had no problems with my combo or Renegade head-just watch your volume on the clean channel to avoid some reverb frazzle.

It's a damn fine sounding amp. My buddy has one and we did an A/B with the Renegade and my Mod 50 and it was damn close. Seriously.

I don't think you can go wrong with it. Good luck!!

Great choice! I love my 212 combo. Ordered it NIB about 4 months ago and have not had any problems!

I have a 1x12 - Frankly it's the best darn amp I've ever had and I've had many...Never had any issues.
