Same neck...I like the pickup config better on the 550.

Something about the wood of the 550 I have...It sounds way better than any guitar I've ever owned...just got lucky with that one.
Funny, with a line of guitars, even though they are all released as the same guitar model, you can definitely come across some real jems in tone if you cherry pick them.
