Looks like fun.

I'm sure you will kill it.

What amp is that behind the fan? Looks like a Matchless or Bad Cat or something.

Ace Pepper is the guitarist, he also builds amps so that's his creation. Some kind of 25 watt Marshell-esque circuit that he runs a zen drive in front of I think. He sounds really good through it but I prefer the more extreme crystal lattice of Twin's EQ.

The jam was fun. Some older lady from New Orleans showed up and killed it on the drums. I was transported back in time with that New Orleans 2nd line groove. It was killer! Sometimes someone grabs an instrument and you just know immediately that this person has done thousands of gigs and tens of thousands of hours of practice. It was one of those moments. Apparently your biggest fan is full of hot air
Texas summers are different from Canadian summers. Have you ever owned an A/C unit or do you just rub glaciers on your head to cool down?

Thread winner. Beautiful 70's pimp cane tenor!!!

Her hat just seals the deal.

Funny you put this up. I went and watched a blues jam last week and am going to jump in next week.

I’m nervous as hell. Not my usual style and I realised while practising this week to backing tracks how deep blues guys knowledge is over those 3 chords.

I also wish I didn’t ride my motorbike there and drink a beer alone and then leave. Now when I turn up I have to live up to this air of mystery. Oh well, my plan is to start winging it and something magical will just happen and I’ll play things I never imagined possible. They’ll all be so awestruck.

Yes, it’s called central air and it’s powerful enough to cool down even the most heated redneck
