Line 6 M13 fx loop with Diezel VH4 Problem

Hi Guys

Can any of you help? I have a Diezel VH4 and am using the Line 6 M13 for my Effects, I am currently plugging the guitar into a Boss Tuner then the M13, then into the front of the VH4, I use a Tech 21 MIDI Moose to change channels (powered by phantom power from the VH4). I also have a Digitech Whammy and Korg Kaoss Pad into the Channel 1 and 2 channel loops respectively and it all works very well together. The MIDI Solutions Thru Box is for my forthcoming Manson MB-1 Guitar.

I have tried using the effects loop connectors using the send 1 output and the serial return as per the Line 6 manual, it sounds as it should but the Diezel stays on channel 1, I change channels with the MIDI Moose and the 4 channel lights on the amp change as they should but the sound that comes out of the amp is of Channel 1 only.

Any ideas?

Are you sure you're just hearing Ch1 or are you hearing the M13 right into the effects return? Sounds like you're totally bypassing the VH4 preamp.

I don't know if the M13 is set up for four cable style hookup.

Google four cable method effects processor and this comes up. Don't know if the M13 is the same as the POD.

The manual says thats how it should be wired, from the sounds of it I reckon you are right, thanks for your help
