Dating Egnater Amps.

Since this seems to be an ongoing discussion.........The serial numbers are an 8 digit number. First two digits are the month. Second two are the year. The last four digits are not related to any "date codes".

So, for example: 03116861 was made in March (03) of 2011 (11).

Duuuh . . . I'm confused. Oh wait - no I'm not . . . because it doesn't get much simpler than that! Thanks for clearing that up Bruce!

Why would anybody want to date an amp? Are we all that hard up? I'd rather date a rebel- be a hell of a good time at least! Besides, I feel married to my amp- I stopped dating it a long time ago!
