Dear Egnater Customers...

This post is to inform you of the status of your orders.

During the 6 months since I have taken over the business, we have made some
great strides to improve our customer service and shorten lead times for
our products. While trying to follow the "old" way of producing M4's, MOD
50's, MOD 100's and our new E2 all at the same time, we grossly
underestimated our production capabilities. Our poor decisions have led to
your orders being delayed another 3 months. We simply are overwhelmed.

We also will not be accepting any new orders from dealers for Egnater
products until after Aug 1, 2008. Why, WE ARE GOING TO STOP THE MADNESS.
We have not been able to provide you accurate deliver times. We truly are
addressing this issue. But we can not address it with the current chaos.
We will fill all outstanding orders while we re-organize. We will then
begin the "new" way of doing business here at Egnater after Sept 1, 2008.

We have resisted raising our prices for the past 8 years but we have
incurred substantial increases in material cost and delivery times from or
current suppliers. We have no choice but to increase our prices on any
orders after Aug 1, 2008. New pricing to follow in the coming month.

We hope to keep your orders and to help ease the pain,
we are offering your (customer) a free module with their order and also
extending no price increase to your customers.

E2 is on track for a mid July ship. The first run will be 20 units to dealers only and will be sold as complete units. Meaning with modules. Pricing will be set in the next 2 weeks. If you want to get on the list for the 20 call one of our 4 dealers and see if they are taking names for units. EGNATER WILL NO LONGER BE TAKING RETAIL ORDERS!

M4's will be next to be produced and then the MOD 50's. Getting us to our Sept 1, 2008 date of the "New Egnater".

This was posted for all to be informed. The dealer whom you made your purchase thru should be informing you the same thing. If they do not , we felt it was important for all to know from our end! This is why we made a post.

We appreciate your commitment and understanding, things are fine and it's gonna be
great!

Great update Jeff. I think most people waiting will appreciate the honesty. This is the type of communication that more builders should provide. I can think of one year long fiasco on this very board that could have benefited from a similar post.

To those who are waiting... yeah you have to wait a little longer and that surely sucks, but you are getting a FREE module and all at the pre-increase price?!? How incredible is that? Who does that? No one but Egnater. These guys are just the best.

As for the price increase... its going to suck for new customers as the dollar continues to be weak and commodity prices continue to rise, but honestly, its pretty long overdue IMO. The MOD 50 at its current price at least hangs with (and IMO destroys) amps that cost $3-4K. I used to tell Frank it was a steal and he'd tell me to feel free to send him an additional check at any time!

Well, I didn't order the E-rect with my M4 so that will probably be my freebie.

What about module mods Jeff? I called and left a couple of messages but haven't heard back yet.

What is the status of the upgrades to the older MOD 100 and Randall Rm100 to run the both channels of the dual channel modules? I've been waiting for over a 1.5 years? Will I be able to get this on my heads? ?

Scott sorry for your frustration. It's been very difficult for me to implement all the things we want to do and we just promised to much stuff. That being said I have my MOD 100's that need to be finished and then I can proceed with stuffing and testing the midi upgrades for the RM 100 for your special need. All the others are going to be in house so they can be tested in the actual amp. So I need to test yours in a Randall to make sure they work. One of the downsides to your request is I will be unable to test and verify it works. Anyway its getting close.

We all appreciate your honesty about this since it seems to be a rare thing these days, especially in business. I'm glad that you guys are doing so well--couldn't happen to better people! I totally understand your situation and don't want to come off as an ungrateful jacka$$, which I might have
