I've got some guys spun up on the Duncan forum with the Rebel!! Can't wait until they see these vids I posted over there. I"ll change that one to the Eggie site as well.

Dude, I thought with the mod50 I was done getting amps! The other room could use an amp...as could my friends who come over to jam...grab and go...damn it i was really resisting this but these clips make it hard.

Great job with the clips, I really enjoyed them. It was both pleasing to listen to and showcased a lot of different sounds. I hate clips that are only shred or play 2 chords out of the blue and call it done. Bitchin' CS strat too! I showed the clips to my friend and he agreed, although he would also like to see a version without any effects.

Lastly, great playing man!

I agree here! I was thinking I really didn't need the rebel until I heard these clips. I have an M4 and a Mod50. But I was super impressed with this amp. I already put one on order w/ Musicians Friend :).

I'd also like to see the clips with the Fender and Suhr right into the Rebel bone stock.

Yeah man. I was gonna say in the other thread that the Rebel really isn't a bedroom amp per se. I think that's the biggest misconception about this amp. It friggin' rocks and it gets LOUD.

I'm still waiting on my call from Guitar Center that my Rebel is in. According to John it shipped out last Friday from CA. Does it really take Guitar Center a week to ship something from CA to MI? :confused:

Those videos are great. Only critique I have is less talking & more playing up front.
That little Rebel must be selling like crazy.

Gino--we all know Egnater's reputation ( :thumbsup:) and we also all know GC's reputation ( :gethim: ). I'd make sure that box is sealed when you get it--don't want any GC employees playing your amp!

Hope you get it soon, man.

Really? Even at 1 watt with the Master low? (Like in the above videos)

This was in no way dogging Egnater. They have no control over this whatsoever. I'm just getting a little annoyed with GC/circumstances out of my control. This isn't John's fault either. He's been more than helpful each time I've talked to him.

I guess it could be. "1W with the master low" isn't exactly my style so I suppose I didn't test that out. All I know is that it really shined the louder it got and it was standing tall up against a 100W JMP. :rock:
 
I was sort of thinking getting this amp...but these videos made me buy it.

So yep, demo videos DO work, even with a cheap camera mic. :thumbsup:

I talked to Gino about this last night and he said it was amazing. I'll let him give the full story, but let it be known, the Rebel is F*%KING AWESOME!
