I purchased an Egnater kit amp last year and finally freed up some time to build the amp. I chose the lower-power kit that runs a pair of 6V6s for 20 Watts. I didn't pay for the head-cab option, because I wasn't too enamoured with the stock cab offering. The kit arrived in a sturdy box, and many of the more fragile items were packed in their own boxes. The kit documentation came on a USB flash drive. Instructions are provided on a few video files. Overall, these seem like decent instructions, but I am relying more on the excellent drawings (layouts, etc.) that were included on the flash drive. The parts are also excellent for the most part. And the circuit design has some cool stuff that I was eager to check out - things like a tube-driven effects loop and a DC heater supply.

Here are some build photos:

Really neat work man...your stuff too Steve.

All the wires, and parts, and triple solders ;) ....man it's a small miracle that these things work at all.

Thanks gents. It was pretty easy to build. Bruce Egnater designed the amp - so I'll give him all the credit for this one... :)

Fired up the amp for the first time. I can't play for shit, but I'm happy with the amp.

For those of you who are interested in building, I created a playlist of a few short videos created when I was doing some testing during initial fire-up. Here is a link to the YT playlist:
