Yep, just like that! My singer/bass player is pregnant! And guess who got her pregnant! Me.

Because she's my wife. Haha!

Still, as happy as I am with the new baby coming (I currently have an 8-year-old boy) it kinda puts the band down the crapper. Oh well. Not a bad trade-off I guess!

Prayers my my wife and coming baby, OK, guys...?

Congrats and good luck...tho' sounds like you've got enough luck having scored a hot bass player ;)

Who says the bass player doesn't get any action....

Congrats....

No guessing about it. The two coolest things that ever happened to me are my two kids! It's what life is all about...ENJOY!

Yes, yes, prayers sent to you and yours...CONGRATS! :D

I can only add a big "YES" to amiller`s comment :)

Congrats, man!

(P.S, you have a beautiful bass player :))

Thanks guys. Yep, she's hot. Been with her for about 10 years.

That's what you get for rockin' out with your cock out! (Congrats!)

It doesn't get much cooler as a band with a bassplayer hiding a helmet under her skirt now does it ? Keep her playing and gigging for as long as possible and don't forget to take some pics...

Congrats !

Congrats!
I gave up my big city life and rock star dreams when my wife got pregnant and moved back to my small hometown in Crystal Falls, MI where there is absolutely NO music scene. And do I regret it? Not at all!

I miss certain parts of my old life, but my daughter is the best thing that ever happened to me!
Besides, it's only a temporary end to your band. You can still rock out when your kids are a bit older

Thanks again. Yeah, a traveling band is a really difficult thing to have when you have kids. You feel the same as a person, but your responsibilities are increase 10 fold. So you feel like you can still do it, but at the same time it becomes increasingly difficult.

I can say this because we already have an 8-year-old. This new happening would be our second child. And I can't complain. I've done a lot even after my kid was born 8 years ago. My wife, and I moved to Hawaii when he was only 1 year old. I spent some time as a pro-kiteboarder while playing drums in church. Then, after a few years we went back to Puerto Rico. Now we are in California, and what brought us here was the desire to push our musical plans even further. We've gotten better, learned a lot, written good songs... But in the end, family like comes first.

Still, my other love is the ocean. I'll put the entire family in a sailboat and sail away... :)

Cheers, Danny

Woah.....................yeah the time from first post to now is about right
