I just want to take a moment right now and give a shout out to my man Chris Snider, who made this whole Rig Talk thing happen. Chris is a good friend of mine, so right now let's take some time to say thank you. And also Bob Savage.
 
the real party started over at HCAF. a few guys got together and decided they had enough with HC and made RT.

gotta thank Bob Savage and Chris - one hell of a corner here :rock:
 
:thumbsup: From me. I still communicate here and there with him on TGP. Chris and Bob started this thing and Brad took it to another level. I have great respect for all of them.
 
Chris is a good man and a good friend. I keep in touch with him via e-mail from time to time. A good man, he is!
 
I remember the first time he got thrown off HC.
 
I too give thanks to Chris and Bob. Actually, I thanked them both on my last CD.

Chris played bass on one of my clips back in the RT early days. :thumbsup: :lol: :LOL:

Seeing the birth of a successful forum split from HCAF was pretty cool to witness/be a part of.

Prior to Rig Talk there were other attempted splits from HCAF, but the new forums never seemed to garner enough sustained traffic and they stagnated to death.
 
The BEST, imo.
Rigtalk has never been the same since he left.
 
I wasn't a member when he was here (at least not active, I don't know the time frame) but I knew him from some forums before and still see him at TGP from time to time, and he's always been a good guy in my book.

Bob Savage, too. He probably doesn't remember me from before this place, but his clips of the Univalve made me get one.
