ok, so I did a trade with rigtalk member Knockout. it went smoothly, and he is a solid dude. now to the guitar!! I got a Jackson Custom Shop Soloist. This guitar plays like a dream, it plays effortlessly, sounds very good, and I think it looks cool also. I have always really liked all white guitars, especially with matching headstock. This has the raw oiled neck and it is so slick and fast, just love it!! I think it has the JB/59 pickup combo, but not sure. What ever they are they are pretty cool, but will probably switch them out, at least the bridge pup. The ebony fretboard feels amazing as well, over all, this is a very well built guitar that is a tremendous amount of fun to play, I have not put it down for days now. It has a reverse headstock, abalone Jackson inlay, and abalone fretboard inlays also, looks great!

Great guitar!
I got one like that, stainless frets, volume knob moved back. Oiled neck.
No reverse headstock though :(
You scored on that!

I put an Alnico 8 JB at around 15k from the Seymour Duncan custom shop in the bridge, definitely brings the Crunchies.

That guitar/wood combo also loves a super distortion!

Congrats!!
I love mine.

how fun are these to play!!!!!??? literally effortless!

Great to see you enjoying it Mike! And I have to say that my Custom Selects are fantastic guitars - one of them is pretty much my go-to guitar these days..

I love Soloists!! Just have that "look."

Looks awesome in white with that headstock. Congrats man!!

Thanks for kind words man!
I'm totally cool with the trade myself, stoked you enjoying the milkshake!

I've been preaching it forever....Jacksons are the best!

this thing is amazing, plays effortlessly, and sounds really good. my only complaint is that the volume knob is in the way at times, so I had to start playing with my hand unanchored. I would anchor my hand using my pinky at times for runs up and down the guitar, especially on the b and e strings.

now I want another!!! especially one of the soloists with the knob moved back a half inch.
