Very cool :thumbsup: but maybe you need to make a separate post Stephen..

I know I would like to read more about this type of stuff..
Sounds like it would make a cool DIY Effects sticky especially if things could be sorted out like which ones are worth doing.. ect..
 
I do not think it would help here a lot (maybe) ..... TGP has a ton of guys who are into the DIY pedal builders. Besides me and you hang out with Matt and Dan .... I am sure we could talk one of these guys to do one faster and better than I could do it for a reasonable fee.
 
Although I have not built that exact kit I have built a few of the BYOC kits for my own use and they are very nice. I've never done an amp kit in my life, I always do that stuff the hard way, I'm too particular but the cost/benefit on those pedals is a no brainer. BYOC is doing something very cool. I'd be happy to put one together for either of you guys but I would encourage you to do it yourself if you're handy with a soldering iron. They come with step by step instructions and the finished results can hang with the big boys. :thumbsup:

I think I could do a pedal ...... I think a preamp would be more my thing.
