Here is a clip of that Mark Cameron Carlsbro amp. Still recorded like shit but you can get the idea of the tone.
Its got much more presence and depth in REAL TIME but the shitty camera I use has a microphone the size of a pencil lead! :lol: :LOL:
Again, just general wanking off and nothing special in playing just noodling.

I am boosting it with a Danelectro Transparent overdrive for most of the video.
I shut it off a few times but for the most part I had it activated. Sounds WAY MEANER in person. :yes:

I am boosting it with a Danelectro Transparent overdrive for most of the video.
I shut it off a few times but for the most part I had it activated. Sounds WAY MEANER in person. :yes:

Is that what your stepping on? When it gets quieter it sounds better to me. Another clip, shorter, closer to the rig and direct in! ;)

Very cool! Does the amp have to be loud or maybe attenuated to gain out? How does it sound at low volume?

I just recorded the 2nd video. Its being uploaded into Youtube now and I will post it here shortly.
This time it was plugged right in and played a little above bedroom level. The recording came out better.
Of course this amp REALLY COMES ALIVE at high volumes......
but this next video shows that it has that TONE even at very low volumes.
Will post as soon as it is 'uploaded' into YOUTUBE(damn that takes forever) :lol: :LOL:

Plugged straight into the amp and moved the camera a little closer.

For the 2nd video it was straight in the amp no overdrive.
Sounds like VH1. I am using a custom Jackson with a EMG 81 in the bridge.
My cab is a Randall Lynch box cab. 4X12 with Super V speakers.
The 1st clip I have a Danelectro Transparent Overdrive. Sounds Incredible.
The clips cant capture the Presence and tone of the amp, especially with that crappy camera.
I just need to part with it since I overspent on gear this past week. :(

Here's a recent clip I did after getting this guy from Dan. I got happy with the volume (as it gets better and better, louder and louder), and it totally clipped out from a distance. Ran a declipper to try and salvage the take, but that obviously waves bye bye to a lot of the punch and dynamics that are crazy in person. This amp moves some severe air. Put an OCD in the front end very occasionally to see how it takes an OD, but I think I mentioned in annotations when I clicked that on. From a personal bias, I would say the "money lead" tones are at around 4:35-4:45. Other than that, it's just a bunch of general wanking.

Thats what I think I need to do to my clips.
They fuzz out too quick but your recording came across nice!
