A vintage EMG 60 from the 80's. These are what Hetfield used in the neck position way back then. These vintage "tan back" or "cream back" units are definitely warmer, less compressed and have a bit less output than current production EMGs. This one has had its main conductor and ground wire lenghthened with period correct vintage braided wire. Works perfectly and sounds great; again much nicer than current EMGs.
