Rant - Rick Beato is a douchecake

Compare his playing ANY real artist like paul gilbet, chris poland, kossof,.beck, aldrich, holdsworth etc ________ fill in the blank fave of yours and it's clear he blows chunks, has a shit tone, crap phrasing etc.

there are HUGE gaps in his musical knowledge
he is clueless about anything electronic from the 1940s - to present day it's all just "EDM' to him
he has no knowledge of funk/soul/bossa/reggae/ international music
his djent lesson is a bad joke
his entire foundation is classical guitar and FM rock and it's fucking lame
i don't need a another privileged "white bro "telling me how great steely dan is.

Yeah. I hate him too. I can't stand dudes who are genuinely kind human beings who like to share their love of music with other people. F**kin' jagoffs, am I right?! Seriously though, who hurt you? My guess is everybody. Nobody likes a butt-hurt b-hole. Remember that.

Beato is as annoying as hemorrhoids. His so-called knowledge is laughable, when put in context. His book is copy & paste from various sources & different authors on the internet and the fact that his bootlickers revive these old threads to suck Beato off don't sway me. Literally hundreds and thousands of people out there that run rings around this guy on YT and elsewhere.

i laugh at it too.. i cant believe the info i got from him for free on youtube, his videos breaking down some of my favorite mixers like andy wallace and brendan obrien i definitely would have paid good money for, those vids taught me more than any other videos on youtube combined and i watch plenty. I feel bad for the people in the comments saying he taught them more than the big name school they went to which they now owe lots of money

Nothing is for free when Beato uses the work of others as channel growth strategy and for his own financial gain and tends to monetize his videos and you seem like the kind of guy who would pay for YT premium but keep licking those boots and watch every video that is in your top search results or trending tab instead of looking for actually good sources and educating yourself in the process.

I like his videos most of the time . 2 things I don’t . When goes in money rants About copyright and shit . The other is when he shares great music but we just see him doing air guitar instead of the player lol . But he’s got a great info

He makes plenty of content I'm not interested in watching and so I don't watch that. But he's made a number of videos/interviews that were great. IMO, most of the hate speaks volumes about the hater and nothing of Beato.

This thread makes me wanna quit the forum, re-join as "Rick Beatoff" just so I can post scathing, hate-filled review of all things Beato.
 
im gonna buy his book right now in hopes to ruin peoples evening and maybe even weekend knowing hes probably eating a happy meal on my dollar. hope he gets a fucking McFlurry too, those are good
